Learn to Tow with Confidence
Hands-on caravan and trailer towing training for individuals, couples and workplaces — using real vehicles, real trailers and practical skills you can use straight away.
Learn the skills you actually need
A Learn to Tow course is about becoming capable and confident with the combination you really use — not sitting in a classroom collecting theory.
Hitch & Unhitch
Build a safe, repeatable routine for coupling, uncoupling and pre-departure checks.
Reverse & Manoeuvre
Learn practical techniques for reversing, parking and positioning your caravan or trailer.
Tow Safely
Understand braking, road position, cornering, sway awareness and how your combination behaves.
Understand Your Setup
Make sense of loading, tyre pressures, towball mass, weights and the limits that matter.
Practical training — not hours in a classroom
We teach by doing. You spend the day working with a real tow vehicle and trailer combination, developing the skills that make towing safer and less stressful.
Many customers arrive nervous about reversing, hitching or towing a large caravan. The course is structured so you can build confidence progressively and leave knowing what to practise next.
One booking. Up to two people.
Your booking covers one vehicle and trailer combination and up to two participants. Couples and regular travelling partners can train together under the same booking.
Workplace Towing Training
Learn to Tow also delivers practical workplace trailer training for staff who tow as part of their job. Training can be tailored to your organisation’s vehicles, trailers, equipment and operating environment.
Our focus is on developing and demonstrating real towing competence: hitching, manoeuvring, reversing, road operation, load awareness and safe working practices — not simply issuing a piece of paper.
Skills your people can actually use
Training can be delivered for fleets, councils, field teams and organisations that need staff to safely tow trailers in day-to-day operations.

Learn to Tow provides practical towing skills training for both recreational drivers and workplaces. Our courses are not nationally recognised VET qualifications.
For recreational drivers, the aim is simple: safer towing, better reversing, practical knowledge and confidence.
For workplaces, our focus is on developing and demonstrating practical competence with the vehicles and trailers staff actually use. We believe useful, observable skill is more valuable than simply holding a piece of paper. Participants receive a Learn to Tow Certificate of Completion.
